At Honeybee Contracting, we believe that quality craftsmanship and meaningful work go hand-in-hand. RACHEL LEHR.
At Honeybee Contracting, we believe that quality craftsmanship and meaningful work go hand-in-hand. Founded in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, our business was born from a deep love for making spaces better, whether that means refreshing a dated room, building custom storage solutions, or crafting one-of-a-kind accent features.
HOW WE CAME TO BEE.
Honeybee Contracting started as a solo vision, but it was never meant to stay that way. After years of working in both the administrative and hands-on sides of construction and renovation, I realized how many talented, experienced tradesmen were struggling to find steady, respectful work. Many were older or semi-retired, and incredibly skilled, yet overlooked. So, I made it my mission to not only build great spaces, but also build up the people doing the work.
WHO WE SERVE & WHAT WE DO.
We primarily work with homeowners, property managers, and real estate agents in Washington and Oregon who need reliable, skilled labor for residential improvement projects. From paint and trim to decks and built-ins, we take on projects that fall between handyman services and full-scale remodels.
What sets us apart? We’re committed to:
- Quality over quantity.
- Personal service with clear communication.
- Reliable timelines and professional results.
OUR TEAM.
While Honeybee Contracting is led by me, we’re not a one-woman show. I collaborate with a trusted crew of seasoned carpenters and skilled tradespeople, most of whom have decades of experience and a passion for the craft.
These are folks who have the skills but may no longer want the headache of running a business. We give them the structure, respect, and fair pay they deserve, and in turn, they give our clients exceptional results.
OUR VALUES.
- Integrity – We show up, follow through, and do what we say.
- Respect – For our clients, for each other, and for the homes we work in.
- Craftsmanship – We don’t cut corners. We take pride in our work.
- Dignity in Work – We provide meaningful, fairly-compensated work to people who still have a lot to give.
WHY IT MATTERS.
Honeybee Contracting is more than a business. It’s a response to a broken system, one where skilled tradespeople are underpaid and undervalued, and where property owners struggle to find trustworthy help. We’re doing it differently. Whether you need someone to refresh your home before a sale, customize your space to fit your lifestyle, or take care of a project you’ve been putting off, we’re here to help.
Let’s build something good together.
